The "Thumsee Runde" in Bad Reichenhall starts directly at the first parking lot on the right coming from Bad Reichenhall. There is a disabled parking space available there. If you start from the parking lot counterclockwise, you will reach a small gravel path, which leads past idyllic bays in the direction of Thumsee Wirt or public bathing place. The path to the Thumsee is mostly wide, but there are phases of inclines and declines to be expected. The path is well suited with assistance. From the Thumsee Wirt, it is necessary to temporarily switch to the road until the next large parking lot, as the path becomes very narrow, bumpy and uneven. From the large parking lot about 500m after the Thumsee Wirt, the direct path is again suitable for wheelchair users. The public toilet at the Thumsee is not barrier-free.
